BIG Speckled Trout CRUSH This Lure in Bayou Bienvenue: Plus Easy Limit Of Bass

Описание к видео BIG Speckled Trout CRUSH This Lure in Bayou Bienvenue: Plus Easy Limit Of Bass

This is a good time to be an angler in South Louisiana because our fall inshore fishing can be absolutely fantastic. On today's trip, the main target was larger speckled trout using jerk baits and twitch baits, but I ended up catching five different species on this one lure: speckled trout, redfish, largemouth bass, flounder , and sheepshead. The wind couldn't decide what to do. I started the morning off in slick calm conditions. An hour later, a thick fog rolled in coupled with winds blowing 15 to 20mph only to turn back calm an hour later. The majority of the big trout I caught were when the wind picked up. After I quit chasing trout, I ran into the marsh to hunt for Bass and they were pretty much stacked up and ready to eat. There was a misting rain the whole morning so I had fits with the camera equipment, but the fishing was so good, I didn't mind. This abandoned shipping channel, known as the MRGO, runs for miles from Chalmette, LA all the way to the gulf. The rocks along the shoreline make a great habitat for all kinds of fish, especially during the colder months of the year. I launched at Eddie Pintos Marina in Bayou Bienvenue. Thanks for watching!
