Cosentino celebra su decimosexta edición del Cosentino Design Challenge (CDC 16) en el edificio Veles e Vents de Valencia. Esta será la primera de muchas acciones que Cosentino realiza en el marco de Valencia Capital Mundial del Diseño 2022 vinculadas al mundo del diseño y la arquitectura. CDC16 cuenta con el apoyo de diferentes universidades, escuelas e instituciones de reconocido prestigio tanto nacional como internacional. Esta iniciativa viene a ser una muestra de las políticas de RSC y apuesta por la educación que Cosentino lleva años fomentando, acercándose los estudiantes e instituciones educativas de diseño y arquitectura.

CDC 16 ha recibido un total de 490 proyectos 184 en la categoría de arquitectura y 306 en la correspondiente a diseño procedentes de diferentes países de Europa, América y Asia. En la categoría de arquitectura los proyectos se centran en la reflexión de la quinta fachada, la cubierta y cómo integrar el diseño con la eficiencia energética. En la categoría de diseño, el tema fue repensar los espacios de trabajo y creación en casa.

De los siete proyectos ganadores de esta edición, cuatro de ellos pertenecen a la categoría de diseño y tres a la de arquitectura. Todos serán premiados con mil euros cada uno.
Este concurso internacional promovido por Cosentino es un punto de unión único entre empresas, universidades e instituciones, donde se fomenta la creatividad y el talento de los estudiantes de arquitectura y diseño de todo el mundo.

Cosentino es líder en superficies de diseño sostenible para la arquitectura y el hogar. Por ello, esta es una iniciativa que desde el punto de vista de información y educación, es muy constante.

Cosentino celebrates its sixteenth edition of the Cosentino Design Challenge (CDC 16) at the Veles e Vents building in Valencia. This will be the first of many actions that Cosentino carries out within the framework of Valencia World Design Capital 2022, linked to the world of design and architecture. CDC16 has the support of different universities, schools, and institutions of recognized prestige both nationally and internationally. This initiative is a sample of the CSR policies and commitment to education that Cosentino has been promoting for years, approaching students and educational institutions of design and architecture.

CDC 16 has received a total of 490 projects 184 in the architecture category and 306 in the design category from different countries in Europe, America, and Asia. In the architecture category, the projects focus on reflecting on the fifth facade, the roof, and how to integrate design with energy efficiency. In the design category, the theme was to rethink home work and creation spaces.

Of the seven winning projects of this edition, four of them belong to the design category and three to the architecture category. All of them will be awarded one thousand euros each.

This international competition promoted by Cosentino is a unique point of union between companies, universities, and institutions, where creativity and talent of architecture and design students from all over the world are encouraged.
