How to Use TEXTAFTER Formula in Excel

TEXTAFTER is a powerful text function introduced in Excel 365 and Excel 2021 that extracts text after a specific delimiter.

Formula Syntax:

=TEXTAFTER(text, delimiter, [instance_num], [match_mode], [match_end], [if_not_found])
Parameters:

text — The original text you want to extract from.
delimiter — The character, word, or symbol after which you want to extract.
instance_num (optional) — Which occurrence of the delimiter to consider.
match_mode (optional) — Case sensitivity (0 = case-sensitive, 1 = case-insensitive).
match_end (optional) — Whether to match from the end of the text.
if_not_found (optional) — Value to return if delimiter is not found.
