Bones of Crows tells the story of Aline Spears, a Cree woman who survives the Indian residential school system to become a code talker for the Canadian Air Force during World War II. The film is being shown as part of the Gig Harbor Film Festival's Monday Monthly Movie series on Monday, July 31 at the Galaxy Uptown Theater in Gig Harbor.

In our latest installment of our video interview series, we are joined by the film's writer, director, and producer Marie Clements. Marie is a multi-award winning filmmaker and we discuss the film as well as the importance of discussing the topic of residential schools in Canada and the US.
