This series on World History will help the students to develop detailed knowledge on the subject world history which is one of the largely ignored areas by the students preparing for civil service examination. This series will be curated and presented by Somasekhar Sir who is an expert in History subject pertinent to UPSC examination.

He has written 5 mains examination with History as his optional subject & also appeared in two UPSC Interviews. Overall, he has got an experience over 15 years in the subject both as a student & a teacher in relation to the UPSC Examination.

The series will provide comprehensive idea on key topics, provided in the UPSC syllabus, say areas like various revolutions including American & French Revolution, Rise of Capitalism, Colonialism & Imperialism, World wars etc.

Further the series will also cover important events post-World War II including events like cold war, regional developments, collapse of Soviet Union and many other events.

The videos will also cover the social impact of various political philosophies like Communism, Capitalism & Socialism in shaping the today's world.
