Using the PLCC to DIP adapter from my previous video and a cheap CPLD development board, I try a little clock switching hack to run my STE's CPU at twice normal speed when it's not accessing the memory.

I'll perform a few speed checks and spoilers! explain why it's not as dramatic an improvement as you'd hope.
