RECIPE:

Onsen Egg (2 person);
600ml water for boiling
2 large eggs
200ml room temperature water

Topping;
105g thinly sliced beef
1/2 yellow onion
1 stalk spring onions (optional but encouraged)
Dash of white or black pepper
Japanese 7-Spice mix (Shichimi Togarashi)

Sauce;
1/2 cup water
1/4 teaspoon chicken stock powder
1/2 tablespoon dark soy sauce not the caramel type
1/4 tablespoon sugar
1/4 tablespoon white vinegar
Pinch of salt, to taste
