Studio Watercolor Palette Set Up | American Journey Porcelain Palette

Thanks to one of my viewers, I have a beautiful new studio palette. This very well could be the last major palette I ever set up. Porcelain pallets are heavy and not suitable for travel, but they show washes beautifully in mixing areas and do not stain, unlike plastic and metal palettes. Paired with me Portable Painter travel palette and my larger air tight travel palette, I think I have found my perfect trifecta and I am finally completely satisfied and content with my collection of palettes :)

This palette took about an hour to set up. The wells are large and hold 8-10ml of paint. I recommend using a tube key or flat nosed pliers to get all of the paint out of your tubes.

UPDATE: I do NOT recommend filling these like I did in this video. I now only fill mine half way to allow for diluting pure tube color in the well without moving to the main mixing area.
