Welcome to Manjuu Food Creations! In this video, I am going to show you how to make Ambe Sasam, Ghotanche sasav , a delightful and authentic Goan mango curry. This traditional dish combines the sweetness of ripe mangoes with the spiciness of Indian spices, creating a unique and flavorful experience.
Ingredients:
Ripe mangoes _ 8
Fresh coconut _ half
Red chilies _ 7-8
split Mustard seeds_ 1 Table spoon
Curry leaves _1 stick
Turmeric powder _1 T
Jaggery_ 2 Tb.
Chilli powder _11/2
.Coriender powder _2
. Fenugreek seeds Roasted _1
. Mustard seeds whole 1
. Asafoetida 1/2
. Black pepper corns 15_20
Salt to taste
Water
Instructions:
Start by preparing the mangoes: peel and take out the seed with pulp
Grind fresh coconut, red chilies,split mustard seeds, roasted Fenugreek seeds, coriander powder, black pepper corns ,salt with water into a smooth paste.
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds letting them splutter. Add Asafoetida and green curry leaves.Add jaggery, turmeric powder, coriander powder and mix well.
Add mangos and salt and mix well then and the coconut-chili paste to the pan and mix well with mangoes.
Then pour in water and bring to a boil.
Simmer until the mangoes are tender and the flavors are well combined.
Serve hot with steamed rice or as a side dish.
Tips:
Adjust the sweetness and spice levels according to your preference.
Use fresh, ripe mangoes for the best flavor.
You can also add a touch of coconut milk for a creamier texture.

*काळी मिरी १५-२०

गुळ चवीनुसार
मीठ चवीनुसार
फोडणीसाठी तेल
