'Will Consume Poison If...': Karnataka Minister Faces Corruption Allegations

Agricultural directors in Karnataka's Mandya district wrote to Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot alleging that state minister and Congress leader N Chaluvarayaswamy demanded a bribe of Rs 6 to 8 lakh from officials. The Governor responded to the letter, saying that officials stated they would be forced to "consume poison" if no action was taken against the minister.
