Special educational needs children struggle in wrong schools as councils 'save on costs'

Parents of children with special needs have told Sky News their kids are being let down because councils are trying to "save on costs".

Some have described being in a "constant battle" with their local authority to get the right education for their children. But councils say they're struggling to meet the volume of demand with "stretched budgets", and parents are also more aware of their ability to appeal.
