Jouer Foundation Demo and First Impressions!!

Hi guys, Teressa here. In this video I'll be demonstrating and providing my first impressions of the Essential High Coverage Crème Foundation by Jouer. I'll also be trying and comparing two ways of applying the foundation: with a makeup sponge and a foundation brush:

• I purchased the Essential High Coverage Crème Foundation by Jouer from Jouer's website ($38 for 0.68 ounces, jouercosmetics.com). I used the shade Fawn. As you'll see in the video, I found that this has a VERY thin and runny formula, but yet provides very full coverage...so much so that a single pump is more than enough. It does dry with a slightly sticky or tacky feeling, so I would strongly recommend setting the foundation with a powder (and I found that it meshed well with all of the powder products in my collection). But overall, this is an excellent foundation and I would definitely wear it to events like weddings where photos will be taken...the coverage is that good. This foundation reminds me a lot of Estee Lauder Double-Wear Foundation, except that this one feels lighter on the skin (which is good thing). Plus, Jouer is cruelty-free, which is a major plus for me.

• I applied the foundation two ways: with the Skin Perfecting Foundation Brush by Pur Cosmetics ($28 from purcosmetics.com), and the Miracle Complexion Sponge by Real Techniques ($5.99 from ulta.com). They both worked well, but I slightly preferred the results I got with the sponge. I think that's because the Jouer foundation is so thin and runny, and the sponge did a great job of absorbing the excess.
