The Historical Flutes Committee warmly invites all flutists to join our session which will showcase flutes from the Renaissance, Baroque, and late Classical periods. We'll demonstrate how flutes differed throughout the centuries and explain how the construction of instruments reflected the repertoire it was meant to play. In addition, we'll be sharing our personal connections with the instrument and why we love historical flute-playing!
