The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s freezer farm holds decades worth of marine samples, including samples of killer whale poop dating back to the 1990s. Studying these samples can give us insights into the whales’ health and diet over time. Amy Van Cise, Assistant Professor at the University of Washington’s School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences, gives us a tour.
