079▶️ Shtnys (Roland J6 Chord Synth // Erica Synths LXR02 + Strymon Bigsky // DB01 + Timeline)

The 2 Erica Synths instruments (LXR-02 and DB-01 Bassline) are back at work one more time, with a new companion from Roland: the J-6 chord synthesizer!

Everything started with a bunch of chords which I recorded into the J-6's sequencer (the J-6 is a digital 4-voice poly-synth modeling the famous Roland Juno synth's sound engine).

The J-6 doesn't have a lot of sound editing possibilities (unlike the JU-06A), but is quite a fun instrument to play with 😉
And while playing with its attack envelope, I found it mimicked quite well a 4/4 sidechained pad!

So I added some drums with the LXR-02 and a fat quite groovy analog bassline with the DB-01. The drums are passing trough the Bigsky reverb and Pill Pedal (ducking pedal, triggered by the kick which is coming from an individual output of the LXR-02, hence not passing through the reverb pedal).
