The Bennett Typewriter - World's Smallest Keyboard Typewriter

Here is a throwback video we made of a Bennett typewriter that we have restored and now belongs to our permanent collection.

The Bennett typewriter is considered to be the worlds smallest keyboard typewriter. This typewriter uses a cylindrical type element, just like that of the Blickensderfer. For each key pressed, the cylinder rotates to the proper symbol before stamping into the paper.

Although the Bennett were advertised as a "pocket typewriter," they surely were not meant to be carried through pockets (although maybe through trench coat pockets), measuring about 11"x5"x2" and weighing around 4.5 lbs.
