Thanks for checking out today’s video! I hope that this will help you save some money and build a safer alternative to plastic car ramps. I’ll show you how to make a much safer (and cheaper) design using construction lumber. This design also includes a rear safety block to prevent the car from rolling off the back of the ramp. This is a pretty simple build and can easily be done in one afternoon.

Materials:
3 2x10s (8ft long each)
1 box of 2.5” wood screws
1 3/8” dowel rod

Minimal Waste Cut List:
2x10 #1:
4 1” pieces of 2x10 (cut at a 90 degree angle)
2 45” pieces of 2x10 (cut at a 45 degree angle)

2x10 #2:
38” piece of 2x10 (cut at a 45 degree angle)
31” piece of 2x10 (cut at a 45 degree angle)
24” piece of 2x10 (cut at a 45 degree angle)

2x10 #3:
38” piece of 2x10 (cut at a 45 degree angle)
31” piece of 2x10 (cut at a 45 degree angle)
24” piece of 2x10 (cut at a 45 degree angle)
