Welcome back to Tasmania, still on the western side, and heading to Queenstown.
Firstly a stop at Lake Mackintosh, considered to be one of the most scenic lakes in Tasmania .
It is beautiful, and a major catchment for the hydro electricity project.
On to the old mining town and now hydro town of Tullah, and another nice lake, Lake Rosebery.
I get a quick look at the little steam engine Wee Georgie Wood'.
I then take a wrong turn and end up a massive mountain, which leafs to a mechanical breakdown.
Which does give me a couple of days in a motel 'nice'.
Queenstown is a nice place, looking up to Mt Owen.
The yellow hills nearby are so unusual, the leftover result of mining.
I managed to get some filming done, before wow SNOW ,such a nice addition to my Queenstown visit.
The old train carriages were interesting but I didn't get to see the engine.
So north again ,slower ,and watching the temperatures.
Back to Waratah area.
Philosopher Falls,I must apologise because I mispronounced Philosopher and Philsophers ,all the while I was there,oh well.
So it keeps getting better, next time Cradle Mountain,
Enjoy this one thanks Bill.
