This video is about exploring Lahaul Valley, which is part of Lahaul & Spiti district. In this video you will see that we are moving directionally towards Sural Bhatori.

We started our journey of Lahaul valley by visiting the confluence of Chandra and Bhaga river at Tandi, then proceeded towards Udaipur and next day we went to see the most beautiful Miyar valley, locally called as Miyar nala.

Date of Journey - 17th & 18th June 2024

Homestay in Tandi - We started our day in the morning at our homestay in Tandi - Lahaul Homestay.

Tariff - Rs 1500 for double occupancy without food.

Breakfast - We had breakfast at our Homestay, we had Red rice, dal, and two different varieties of Aloo sabzi for breakfast. We enjoyed the breakfast here with the beautiful view of the mountains.

Tea with Homestay owner - Seabuckthorn Leaf Tea with the Homestay owner Mr Beer Singh Ji.

Tandi Bridge - Then we traveled around 8 km from homestay & reached the Tandi Bridge to see the confluence of Chandra & Bhaga River. Here we saw the beautiful confluence of both rivers.

Zobran Village - After this, we reached Zobran Village. Originally, we were supposed to go to Rashil Village but we mistakenly reached the neighboring village of Rashil.

It was a beautiful village with amazing views of the mountain range, overall we enjoyed it here at Zobran Village.

Homestay in Udaipur - We reached Udaipur & we stayed at the Sharma Homestay

Next Day - 18th June 2024

Trilokinath Temple - We travelled around 10 km from our Homestay in Udaipur & reached at Trilokinath Temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It contains a three-faced murti of Shiva, which is the origin of the name Trilokinath, "Lord of Three Worlds"

If you are travelling from Tandi to Udaipur - this temple will come first then Udaipur will come, there is a 4-5 km diversion for the temple.

It is sacred to both Tibetan Buddhists and Hindus.

Breakfast near Temple - After this, we had breakfast near the Temple at Aditya Bhojnalaya. We had Aloo Paratha & Dahi in the breakfast.

Breakfast Cost - Rs 50

Homestay near Trilokinath Temple - After breakfast we met Mr. Prem Ji who showed us his Homestay - Large Homestay.

Tariff - Rs 800 for double occupancy

Confluence Miyar Nala - We proceeding towards Udaipur we saw here the beautiful confluence of Miyar Nala & Chandrabhaga Rivers.

Miyar Valley - We travelled around 32 km from Udaipur & reached at the Shukto village of Miyar Valley. It was a beautiful village with only 7 - 8 homes.

Miyar Valley is also known as the Valley of Flowers. July and August are prime times to visit this magnificent valley, blooming with high-altitude flowers, medicinal plants, & herbs

Khanjar Village - After this we reached the last village of Miyar Valley. From here there is no road ahead. we experienced the best views of the Miyar Valley from this village.

Guide Miyar Valley - We met here Sandeep Bhai who is a guide of Miyar Valley, he helps tourists in guiding & Miyar Valley Trekking.

We did a short Trek with Sandeep bhai & we saw a beautiful Lake & the view of this place was just amazing which I can’t describe in words.
