Condenser vs Dynamic Microphones: What Should You Buy First?

Should you buy a Condenser Microphone first or a Dynamic Microphone? Choosing your first microphone as a beginner when you don't have the budget to buy both can be challenging at times. So how about we breakdown the differences of each so you can pick which is more important for your needs. Condenser mics are very sensitive microphones and would require you to power it with a 48v phantom power while a Dynamic mic tends to be quite warm sounding and doesn't really require phantom power to function.

Both microphones have different advantages and uses which extends beyond the human voice. Building a home recording studio would certainly benefit you by having both.
