A seminar on the strategic defense agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia was organized in Karachi by the Pakistan Institute of International Affairs. Former Federal Secretary, Ministry of Defense Production, Government of Pakistan, Analyst, Global National Security and Economic Stability, Author and Political Observer, Lieutenant General (retd) Talat Masood and Economic Advisor, Financial Policies, Ministry of Finance, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Aqdas Afzal participated in the seminar as guests.
Addressing the seminar, Lieutenant General (retd) Talat Masood said that the world is changing. The world is moving forward. In such a situation, Pakistan cannot afford to retreat. Talat Masood said that the strategic mutual defense agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is welcome, after which aggression against one of the countries will be considered aggression against both countries. Pakistan should take advantage of this for the betterment of its economy.
