Game Info: The follow-up to Sengoku Basara 3: Samurai Heroes (Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes to us) is coming to the PlayStation 3 and Wii in Japan. Entitled Sengoku Basara 3: Utage ("Utage" being an archaic term for "Party"), Capcom finally revealed that it's coming November 10, 2011.

Capcom are boasting a vast amount of content with this game. There's the Story Mode which fills in the gaps of the first game, focusing on eight characters that were formerly non-playable -- five of which exhibit the "drama" theme that Capcom aims to bring (Kojuro Katakura, Sasuke Sarutobi, Tenkai/Akechi Mitsuhide, Muneshige Tachibana, and new character Hisahide Matsunaga), and the other three offering us a big fat "party" and providing even more comedy relief than the first game did (Hideaki Kobayakawa, Yoshiaki Mogami, and Sorin Otomo.)

Another mode is the Country Unification Mode, which is pretty much the story mode of the first game, where you try to conquer the land of Japan. Other modes include the Japan Sports Mode, the Decisive Battle Mode, and many more.

Capcom also have expanded the battle system, adding more moves and features though keeping most of the details quiet for now. What they have mentioned is a Tag Mode that allows two generals fight together and switch places in any moment.

For fans wondering what about the other characters, don't worry -- they all return, as well as six new characters yet to be revealed. This makes a grand total of 30 characters, 14 more than the last game. Furthermore, there's two player co-op for every mode and a data import function that allows you sync your game saves from both games either way, allowing you to continue leveling up the original character cast whichever game you play.
