*This video review of InterContinental San Diego, USA. I stayed in this hotel for 1 night, 2 days a little video review of the property.

We were "upgraded" to Premium City View 2 Queen valued $375 with a Diamond member. Original value: $300. I made a reservation with Free Night Rewards.

Hotel Review
Located on the San Diego waterfront, this urban boutique hotel features guest rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows with striking San Diego Bay views. InterContinental San Diego features 3 dining venues and features a 4th floor rooftop bar. San Diego International Airport is 12 minutes’ drive away.

The comfortable air-conditioned guest rooms at this hotel include a 49-inch TV, a custom coffee machine and a mini-bar. Guest bathrobes and slippers are also provided.

Vistal, InterContinental San Diego’s signature restaurant, features an eclectic blend of cuisine influenced by the Baja Peninsula, the Pacific Islands and Mediterranean fishing villages. The locally sourced menu includes blue prawns with purple sweet potato gnocchi and roasted poblano, gold spotted bass with yam greens and lobster-coconut broth and local abalone with smoked onion sabayon and uni. A selection of craft cocktails, local and international beers and a curated wine selection are also offered at Vistal.

Guests of InterContinental San Diego can work out in the expansive health and wellness center which features San Diego Bay views, a personalized video wall and an outdoor yoga terrace.

The USS Midway Museum is 1 mi away from this hotel. International Cruise Ship Terminals are 4 minutes’ drive away. PETCO Park, home of the San Diego Padres professional baseball team, is 10 minutes’ drive from InterContinental San Diego.
