Pressure Fermentation Tips and Tricks

Описание к видео Pressure Fermentation Tips and Tricks

Pressure fermenting is a great way to improve many styles of beers, allowing home brewers to make commercial level beer quality at home. It’s a great step up for any setup, but there’s so much that can be done other than just fermenting under pressure. This video goes into details on how we can make the most of our pressure fermentations setups, as well as how to store and utilise all that CO2 given off during fermentation.

Something I don’t mention in the video is during fermentation, the gas can be stored in a larger stainless steel keg (like a corny). This way more gas can be stored and towards the end of fermentation the pressure can be ramped up to store more CO2 without any negative affects on beer flavour (just make sure you don’t go over the max pressure of the fermenter or gas storage vessel). This gas can then be used to dispense straight from the fermenter without the need for an extra CO2 tank, or used to for counter pressure bottling.
