Schedule a windows server2012 restart @ particular time.


1, Create a batch file for restart server after 60 seconds.
Create a notepad and type below command and save in .bat extension Command is
shutdown -r -t 60


2, Go start and type task scheduler and Create Basic Task


3, In general type the taskname as restart and description


4, In trigger chose weekly and select the day and time.


5, In Action chose start a program and browse the restart.bat file which saved on desktop.


6, Once everything complete it will ask for administrator authentication.


7, We can see that the last run status is never . For testing purpose we can run the the task


8, Now the server will start to logoff after 60 seconds


9, Now you can see the last run time detail. Thanks for watching...
