안녕하세요, 탱구아빠입니다.
Hello, this is Taenggu’s dad.

드디어… 저희 탱구네가 다섯 가족이 되었습니다.
At last… our Taenggu family has become a family of five.

처음에는 저와 아내, 그리고 작은 인연처럼 찾아와 준 희동이.
In the beginning, it was just my wife and me, and Heedong who came into our lives like a small miracle.

그다음 태인이가 우리 곁으로 와 주었고,
Then Taein came to join our side,

이제는 태리까지…
and now, Taeri has joined us as well…

어느새 우리 집은 웃음소리로 가득 찬 다섯 식구가 되었습니다.
Before we knew it, our home became a household of five, filled with laughter.

아내와 늘 이야기했었습니다.
My wife and I used to talk about this often.

“나를 닮은 아들 하나, 너를 닮은 딸 하나.”
“One son who looks like me, and one daughter who looks like you.”

그 소박했던 바람이 이렇게 현실이 되어 제 품 안에 안겨 있습니다.
That simple wish has now become reality, resting gently in my arms.

그리고 우리 희동이까지 함께이니, 더 바랄 것이 없다는 말이 이런 순간을 두고 하는 말인 것 같습니다.
And with our Heedong by our side, I truly feel there is nothing more I could ever ask for.

요즘 들어 자주 생각합니다.
These days, I find myself thinking more and more—

행복은 거창한 무언가가 아니라,
Happiness is not something grand or extraordinary,

그저 평범한 하루를 무사히 함께 보내는 것이라는 걸요.
but simply being able to spend an ordinary day together, safely and peacefully.

아침에 아이들 웃음소리를 듣고,
Hearing my children’s laughter in the morning,

저녁에 가족과 같은 공간에서 숨 쉬는 그 순간들이
and breathing in the same space as my family at night—

사실은 가장 큰 축복이었다는 걸 이제야 조금 알 것 같습니다.
I’m finally beginning to understand that those moments are the greatest blessings of all.

무엇보다, 출산이라는 결코 쉽지 않은 시간을 온몸으로 견뎌낸 제 아내 희진이에게 진심으로 감사하다고 말하고 싶습니다.
Above all, I want to sincerely thank my wife, Heejin, who endured the incredibly difficult journey of childbirth with all her strength.

말로 다 표현할 수 없을 만큼 고맙고, 존경스럽고, 사랑합니다.
I am beyond grateful, deeply respectful, and so full of love for you—more than words can express.

태리를 세상에 안아 준 당신 덕분에 우리 가족의 세상은 또 한 번 넓어졌습니다.
Because you brought Taeri into this world, our family’s world has grown even bigger.

이 과정을 영상으로 남길 수 있었다는 것 또한 훗날 우리에게 큰 선물이 되겠지요.
Being able to capture this journey on video will surely become a precious gift for us in the future.

오늘도 누군가에겐 평범한 하루일 수 있겠지만,
Today may be just another ordinary day for someone,

그 평범함 속에 이미 충분한 행복이 담겨 있기를 바랍니다.
but I hope you can find that there is already more than enough happiness within that ordinary day.
