This project demonstrates how to build a Sound-Activated Alarm System using an Arduino. When a noise (like a clap or a shout) is detected, the system immediately triggers a light and a siren sound effect for a set duration!

What is it?
It's an entry-level home security or novelty alarm system built around an Arduino Uno. It uses a small, sensitive microphone module to listen for sound events.

How it Works (in 3 Steps):
Sensing: The Sound Sensor Module listens for sound. When the noise level exceeds a specific threshold (which we set with the blue screw/potentiometer), its Digital Output (DO) pin sends a signal to the Arduino.

Processing: The Arduino Uno receives the signal. It runs code that timestamps the event and manages the timing for the alarm sequence.

Alarming: The Arduino executes two simultaneous actions:

It turns an LED ON for one second.

It uses the tone() function to create a sweeping, ambulance-style siren sound on the active buzzer for two seconds, providing an audible warning.

How it's Made :
This project requires four main components: an Arduino Uno (the brain), a Microphone Module (the ears), an Active Buzzer (the voice), and a Red LED with a resistor (the light). We connect the sensor's digital pin and the buzzer/LED pins to the Arduino, and then upload a simple C++ sketch (code) to define the sensitivity and control the alarm timing.
