Modelling a simple transformer and defining custom equations using Comsol Multiphysics

Описание к видео Modelling a simple transformer and defining custom equations using Comsol Multiphysics

This tutorial shows how a basic step-up transformer can be modelled in Comsol and how to define custom equations which can be used in the model. Physics variables can be used to define equations and you can apply operators such as integration, average, etc. In this example I compute the core loss due to hysteresis (eddy current loss in neglected). Winding copper loss is already defined and calculated by default in Comsol (mf.Qrh). You can also calculate it as 0.5(I^2)R over 1 cycle. A single plane of symmetry is used to reduce the model size.
