First opened in 1928, the Brookside Golf & Country Club is nestled right up against the world famous Rose bowl in the heart of Pasadena, California. The shorter, but tighter of the two courses, the E.O. Nay Course opened for play in 1932. Designed by golden age great William P. Bell, the course, while heavily trafficked, still shows glimpses of that vintage strategy and quirk that was more common in years past.

In this video, Jimmy and myself try to get some momentum going after a rather uninspiring even par front nine. Some gettable short par 4's await, can the fellas get hot?
