Whether you're struggling with position, speed, or consistency, these off-ice training tips will give you the tools to transform your spin technique. Perfect for figure skaters of all levels, especially if you're working on your spins at home or off-season. As many of you know, I have chronic nerve pain in my lower back as a result of a skating injury. It can make things like camel spin difficult at times. I have been adding these off-ice exercises into my daily routine and have noticed a huge difference.

As mentioned in the video, because of my nerve pain it is hard to fully straighten my leg/knee so you will notice that it may be bent at times. I physically can't fully extend my leg but if you can I highly recommend practicing it throughout the off-ice exercises!
