Spend more but buy less: I know that doesn't sound nice, but hear me out, because if you use this one word to describe clothing, it'll change every way you think about clothes, fashion and style.

View clothing as an investment. If you invest in your clothing, you'll find yourself buying less through impulse. You'll buy quality clothing, you'll buy classic clothing, and you'll be buying from companies that value tradition, the environment, and ethical working conditions; the complete opposite of fast fashion.
