Job Title: Sales Manager – Decking and Landscaping Products

Salary: Base salary + Competitive Commission

About Us:
Melbourne Decking and Landscaping specializes in composite decking, synthetic grass, pergolas, and associated materials. We’re looking for a charismatic and knowledgeable Sales Manager to help drive sales and grow our business to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle 80% of customer interactions via phone and 20% in-person at our showroom.
Develop a deep understanding of our products: composite decking, synthetic grass, pergolas, and installation materials.
Engage with existing clients and reach out to new potential customers including builders, carpenters, and landscapers.
Achieve sales targets and benefit from a commission structure that rewards top performers.
Maintain sales records, track performance, and manage follow-ups using Excel and XERO.

Qualifications:

3+ years of sales experience (preferred but not required).
Strong knowledge of decking, landscaping, and synthetic grass products.
Charismatic phone presence with excellent English communication skills.
Experience with XERO and proficiency in Excel.
Highly organised with a passion for customer service.
