Microsoft Surface Pro 4 model 1724 with password on BIOS. The only method that I found working is to reflash the chip. The only hard part is to remove the screen without damaging it. Realistically the repair always involves screen replacement. BIOS binary is freely available and cheap BIOS programmer CH341 is all you need. Unfortunately there is no room to connect alligator so the chip needs to come off. Programming takes about 3 minutes. After replacement the computer will reboot a few times.
