Kokan NGO Honors Rural Changemakers: Creating Jobs & Livelihoods! | Kokan NGO

A significant seminar was held in Sindhudurg, Kokan rural India, to discuss how to improve lives in small villages. Kokan Kala Va Shikshan Vikas Sanstha presented their scalable work and their plans for the future to all the well-known personalities contributing towards the upliftment of communities of Sindhudurg district.
The seminar featured Honorable Padmashree Parshuram Gangavane Sir, Ajay Thute Sir BDO from NABARD, and Yashavant Patakar Sir from RSETI, Tahsildar Shridhar Patil who shared their ideas for village development. Doctors, trainers, and village leaders from Sindhudurg also participated in the discussions stating the needs of the village and its beneficiaries.
The key topics covered in the seminar were water conservation, environmental protection, women empowerment, and overall village improvement. Team Kokan thanked and acknowledged the trainers, doctors, and village leaders for their hard work.
This seminar is a stepping stone towards understanding the needs of the villages and implementing positive changes that are aligned to achieve the UN's sustainable development goals.
