Light Tackle Fishing on the Chesapeake Bay is The Best Way to Spend a Late Summer Day

Conditions: Sunny with increasing winds throughout the day
Air Temp: 65 - 75 degrees F
Water Temp: 76 degrees F
Wind: 2 - 12 mph
Gear: 7' Medium and Medium/Light spinning gear for casting
7' Medium/Heavy and Heavy spinning gear for jigging
Tackle: 1/4 and 3/8 oz jigs with 4" paddle tail swimbaits for casting
3/4 and 1 oz jigs with 7" paddle tail or straight tail swimbaits for jigging (purple seemed to be the hot color)
