In today’s Digital Age, one may ask that what is Relevance of letter writing?
Well, there are quite a few reasons why it is still so relevant, especially for children. Firstly, it improves one’s handwriting. Secondly, it strengthens our language skills. Thirdly, it encourages creative expression and finally, above all, handwritten letters make for great memories and add that special personal touch.

SCOPE organized a letter-writing competition for Std. 9th to 11th in A.G. High School and G & D Parikh Higher Secondary School on 06.09.22 to encourage this habit amongst our children. The Topic was to write a letter to your favourite teacher in about 150 words and duration allotted was 45 minutes. The students participated in greater numbers exceeding the registered ones which reflected a very positive response. As the students had already celebrated Teacher’s Day the day before on 5th September, the topic motivated them to express their feelings with renewed enthusiasm.
