How to make traditional British fruit scones.

Nothing says 'British summer' more than a traditional afternoon tea where the star of the show is always the scones.

Watch this video to learn how to make these delicious fruit scones that are so fluffy, crumbly and moreish. To finish them off I filled them with clotted cream and strawberry jam; the traditional filling and absolute bliss.

This is a quick, simple, easy recipe that children will love to make and the whole family will love to eat.

Ingredients you'll need-
500g Plain flour (plus a little extra for dusting)
80g Unsalted butter
150g Dried fruit - eg raisons or sultans
25g Baking powder
80g Caster sugar
1 tsp Vanilla extract (aka a splish)
3 Eggs
250ml Full fat milk (may not need to add all of this).
