Its time to fit the engine into our Ford Escort rally car project! Along with the engine fitting, in this episode we also fit the 6 speed sequential gearbox, prop shaft, rear anti roll bar and rear brakes. Whilst we were busy getting the Ford Cortina ready for the beginning of the racing season, the 2.4L Duratec engine was down at JRE for a rebuild before making its way back into the car. Now it's back and we've got a few weeks between races it's time to pick up where we left off on our rally car restoration!
