If you are Highly Sensitive it is easy to pick up on others emotions, maybe even absorb them as if they are your own. If you are also Autistic and ADHD, you may also struggle with regulating those feelings and be even more hyper sensitive to other's feelings, possibly internalising any perceived problem as you.
