Resep Tempe Orek Khas Sunda (untuk 6 porsi)

Bahan:
600 gr tempe
2 sdm minyak
7 siung bawang merah
2 cm lengkuas
4 lembar daun salam
3-4 sdm kecap manis
2-3 sdm gula merah
¼ sdt merica
2 sdm MAGGI Saus Tiram
2 sachet MAGGI Magic Lezat
500 ml air
3 buah cabai gendot hijau
2 buah cabai merah besar

Bahan bumbu halus:
3 butir kemiri, geprek
5 siung bawang putih, geprek
3 sdm minyak

Pelengkap:
nasi
kerupuk

Cara membuat:
1. Geprek kemiri dan bawang putih, masukkan ke dalam blender dan tambahkan minyak. Haluskan hingga benar-benar halus
2. Iris bawang merah, geprek lengkuas dan potong-potong tempe
3. Panaskan minyak di wajan, masukkan bawang merah beserta lengkuas dan daun salam, tumis hingga bawang merah berwarna kecokelatan
4. Masukkan bumbu yang sudah dihaluskan dan tumis kembali hingga harum
5. Masukkan tempe yang sudah dipotong, air, kecap manis, MAGGI Saus Tiram, MAGGI Magic Lezat, merica dan gula merah. Masak kembali
6. Potong-potong cabai gendot hijau dan cabai merah besar kemudian masukkan ke wajan. Masak hingga matang dan air menyusut
7. Tempe orek siap disajikan

Sundanese Tempeh Stir-Fry Recipe (yield 6 servings)

Ingredients:
600 g tempeh
2 tbsp oil
7 pc shallot
2 cm galangal
4 pc bay leaf
3-4 tbsp sweet soy sauce
2-3 tbsp palm sugar
¼ tsp pepper
2 tbsp MAGGI oyster sauce
2 sachet MAGGI Magic Lezat
500 ml water
3 pc habanero
2 pc large red chili

Spices:
3 pc candlenut, pounded
5 clove garlic, pounded
3 tbsp oil

Sides:
Rice
Crackers

Steps:
1. Pound the candlenuts and garlic. Place in a blender and add oil. Blend until completely smooth.
2. Slice the shallots, pound the galangal, and cut the tempeh.
3. Heat oil in a pan. Add shallots along with galangal and bay leaves. Sauté until shallots are brown.
4. Add the blended spices and sauté again until fragrant.
5. Add the sliced tempeh, water, sweet soy sauce, MAGGI oyster sauce, MAGGI Magic Lezat, pepper, and palm sugar. Cook again.
6. Slice the habanero and large red chili, then add to the pan. Cook until done and the water reduces.
7. Tempeh Stir-Fry is ready to serve.
