Visakha Dasi presents a balanced and insightful view of the context and meaning of scriptural statements about women to encourage all ladies on the path of spiritual growth and empowerment. Visakha Dasi spent 50+ years studying Srila Prabhupada's teachings and legacy, and practicing Bhakti yoga. She and her husband, Yadubara Prabhu, traveled with Srila Prabhupada for nearly 6 years. She deeply studied the Vedic scriptures which Prabhupada translated and wrote commentaries on. She is an award winning author, photographer and the president of Bhaktivedanta Manor in the UK.
