EAL Learners and Science (Webinar)

Описание к видео EAL Learners and Science (Webinar)

Language is integral to how students engage with science. Teachers’ knowledge about the language of science and about language support strategies can improve the overall science learning experience of all students, especially of pupils who use English as an Additional Language (EAL). This webinar, co-delivered with the ASE Inclusion in Science Team, will explore what it means to create an inclusive science classroom and discuss the benefits and impact of inclusion, with a focus on linguistic inclusion and the development of the language of science. We will share practical activities and provide examples for how to simultaneously support both content and language development.
