An overly thorough review of LOVE ON THE BRAIN (aka Marie curie Biography)

3.5/5 stars. I really wanted to like this book, but the amount of "blue-balling" I got every single time the plot was finally going somewhere, I just couldn't handle it. Don't get me wrong, I was FOAMING at the mouth for Levi, this couple is so cute, and I got so many butterflies reading it.

I hate that I am not really vibing with the recent books I'm reading. I don't know if I'm just starting to become overly critical, or if my feelings are valid & these books could do better. I am so conflicted with Love on the Brain because I liked it, but I couldn't get behind how childish these grown adults were being. I will say that looking back at my reading of The Love Hypothesis, this book is definitely more grounded and realistic. It's very believable that these two people (Levi and Bee) would fall for each other in the way that they did, than Olive and Adam's fake dating stuff in the first book.
