63-year-old Tan Khim Peng runs the last charcoal retail store in Singapore. After more than 40 years in the trade, he has decided to end the 91-year-old family business. Yang Yu Ting was a former air stewardess. After marriage, she assists her husband to run his family charcoal business. From hesitant to acceptance, she comes to realise the value and significance of charcoal industry to the society.

63岁的陈欽平经营本地最后一家木炭零售店。为报答爷爷的养育之恩，他服完兵役后，就一头载进家族木炭业。四十多年后，即便百般不舍，他还是决定要结束经营了91年的家业。杨玉婷是名前空姐，婚后协助丈夫打理传承三代的木炭业。以前工作光鲜亮丽，现在蓬头垢面。从抗拒到融入，过程中也让她体悟到木炭业的价值和意义。
