An abandoned theater in the middle of a Belgian city? This place has been locked for several years but last week we got a tip that a door was open. We didn't think about it for a second and we jumped in the car and drove to this place. Once we where inside we could not believe what we saw in there. It was just mind blowing that such a place was abandoned. All the lights still functioned in this place and it was just magnificent to see. A little bit of history about it, It was build in 1892 by an Italian architect. He used Italian style for the inside and neo-Gothic style for the outside. It was used to host different kind of shows from opera to rock concerts. Due to the maintenance cost of the place they had to close it down in 2015. It is due to reopen in 2022.
