Hosted by the Brahma Kumaris (UK) at Global Co-operation House in London, this insightful evening explored the heart of compassion with Dadi Janki and Clarke Peters.

Compassion enables us to develop kindness, happiness and self-acceptance and it gives us a sense of well-being through which we are able to reach out to others.

Dadi Janki, Head of the Brahma Kumaris, now aged 97, has spent a lifetime developing her inner peace and power through the practice of Raja Yoga meditation and empowering millions of people to do the same. Dadi Janki is a visionary, whose uniqueness lies in her unswerving optimism and a heart rich in compassion.

Clarke Peters is an American actor, singer, writer and director best known for the play Five Guys Named Moe and his roles as Detective Lester Freamon and Albert "Big Chief" Lambreaux on the HBO dramas The Wire and Treme. Clarke uses meditation as a tool to neutralise the negative in today's world.
