Joe rides with Wagonmaster Brian Cook, who gives us a little history of the ride and stats on this year. There were 21 wagons and a total of 199 registrants.

Joe then rides with Karlene Meyers who first rode on the 5th wagon train with her parents. Back then most people camped and water came from the creek. The event has always been catered.

Next we ride with Wagon Train President Vickie Leonard. She discusses the logistics. There is always a farrier, EMT and HAM radio team that help with problems and emergencies. Vickis also discusses some of the traditions of the Roundup itself and it is an event in collaboration with Native American tribes in the area.

Lastly we ride with Sis Waldron, owner and breeder of Shire horses. She has 80year0olds Hope and Tuck with her. She talks about the breed and how rare they.

We end with a wonderfully quiet spot watching the teams and outriders ride past.
