The bead rolled roof - 64 Toyota Stout Build

Описание к видео The bead rolled roof - 64 Toyota Stout Build

The full process of making a custom roof from scratch.

The Toyota Stout was roof chopped in the previous video which means that the roof was the wrong size subsequently . Rather than adding strips to the original roof skin which was quite unsightly, I decided to make a new one that visually flowed a bit nicer.
The rain gutters were replaced with a subtle swage - more of a suggestion of a gutter that flows down into the side of the body.
This meant redesigning the transitions of the corners of the roof. For this I used some modelling clay which allowed me to visualise and fine tune the shapes before pulling patterns from the clay to turn it into metal.

The wooden roof buck was also a visual aid for the roof contour as well as a framework to make the panels to - it would otherwise be quite difficult to build them over thin air with no support or reference.

The beadrolled roof design is there just because I thought it was look cool. At first it was to add a bit depth to the lowrider inspired graphics but now I might leave it in a single colour to highlight it as more of a feature.

I hope the rest is self explanatory. I try and be as visually informative as possible in these videos to help people understand the build processes without having to speak on camera. I hope you enjoy the video, these take an incredible amount of time to compile the footage and put together.

Thankyou for subscribing to my channel :)
I also have stickers and banners available on my channel home page if you would like to help support the build.
Cheers, Jasmine.
