THE BEST PLACE TO SEE PUFFINS IN EAST ICELAND, DAY 7 (BORGARFJORDUR EYSTRI, VESTRAHORN, HOFN)

As we continued our trip around Iceland, on DAY 7 we drove to explore East Iceland, specifically Borgarfjordur Eystri to see the puffins. We made a quick stop at Studlagil Canyon and then we drove about 1 hour 45 minutes East. The road was very scenic. We drove around the mountains and ocean coastline of Eastern Iceland and we got lucky with beautiful blue sky, although it was pretty windy so we couldn't fly drone much during the day. After we visited the safest place to see the puffins, we drove south to our destination for the night, Hofn. As we continued driving south, the weather has changed from blue sky to foggy and rainy, however, it was still very unique experience and scenery. We stopped at couple of waterfalls, explored Hvalnes Lighthouse, Vestrahorn, Viking Village set at midnight and we stayed at Hofn for the night.
