I own about ten 50mm equivalent lenses and tried many more. Still, when the Thypoch Simera 50mm f1.4 ASPH was announced, I just had to review it.

It's compact and well built lens in Leica M-mount, which makes it easy to adapt to pretty much any camera system. The images that come out of this lens have this nice combination of character and modern characteristics.
